Konbachiwa!
Damn fun and tiring day today. Exchanged with a japanese JUNIOR high school band. LOL
But they're damn imba ah for their age. All younger than me okay!~
Played El Camino Real. Woo~ Sounded really not bad considering its only our first encounter. Hahah. Not to mention communication is really a HUGE problem. Our assistant conductor was
like miming everything he's saying. XD Damn retarded, but what to do. LOL
Ohya, and their band is damn disciplined one okay. None of them talked during rehearsal and I thought they would be the quiet type of band. But was proven wrong eventually, cause apparently they don't talk until they've officially been dismissed by the conductor. This is why they are Japanese and we are SG-eans. :)
And did I tell you they have no horns? :(
Very sad la our section got no one to bond with, so in the end crashed with the trumpets.
And also did you know only 3 guys came?? They have 20 in their actual band, but only 3 could come. Damn sad. :(

Hmmm, so yeah.... Understand my despair. If I emo these few days its because of this.
On a brighter note however, there's a Jap school, Tezukayama High School, coming down to AC tomorrow! Yippees~
Or to be more specific, their band, choir and strings will be coming down.. A sister school of AC for 20 years, so there's gonna be a concert in the school theatre on Friday. Yup. :)
Brushing up my very limited Jap knowledge now. Hahah~
Probably gonna miss lots of lecture and tutorials for the next few days.
As if I'm not lagging enough already. -_-
Thanks god my class are the hyper type. Absolutely CANNOT imagine staying in a mugger class. (Think WeiJie type-ppl in a single class, which is a norm in those top classes)

ACJC Freeze
Frozen Grand Central
"Here's the plan for April fools day in ACJC. We're going to do an ACJC freeze. I've linked a video of another freeze done at the grand central station in new york. If all goes well it should be something like that.
We'll all sync to the clock in the hall. April 1st is a wednesday so on wednesday morning, before assembly starts, at precisely 0720am, according to the time stated by the clock in the hall, we'll all freeze for exactly 2minutes. So that's from 0720-0722.
In order for this stunt to work, we'll need a large majority of the school to be involved. As such, can i encourge everyone to publicise this to your friends in ACJC to join in this momentus april fools stunt!"

I'm not forcing you guys to go, but the figures aren't too good at the moment. Maybe its because its on a weekday and the first day of Secondary school SYF. MAYBE.
Ticket sales are closing too~ Worried worried.
Oh yeah, and one more thing. I have ONE FREE TICKET that I can pay for using my Edusave. JUST ONE. $20 or $25, up to you to choose.
Only thing is, the seats are not free-seating and unless you've found someone to go with, and he/she is buying the same priced tickets as you, you most probably have to sit through it alone.
Now my problem is ........................... who should I give this ticket to? Or rather, who deserves it most?
Hahah, sounds like I'm some "taukay" distributing money or something. LOL
Tough tough decision. Hmmm...
Convince me people. :D

Since Olga changed her blogskin, I should change mine too right?? Hahah.
Coincidentally, the bandwidth of my previous blogskin image exploded, so I was forced to change.
So I'm no copycat okay!
In case you guys are thinking that. :)
It took me a while to find this new skin though. Cause I want a nice skin, yet, still be able to plaster my NEWS icons everywhere, LJ-style. Hee~ Ohyah, and I updated the icons of them in their latest hairstyle. LOL. Kakkoii ne~~
Band-ed today. As expected, my SL-ing sucked just now. I think partly because my section mates don't even respect me in the first place. Especially my wonderful friend. He looks bored. :/ Oh well.
We FINALLY started on Overture No. 2. Hahah. Simple song with tricky articulation.
CAN MAKE IT ONE LAR. :D
But I didn't know my section can't sight-read. Even though its a SUPER EASY rhythm, compared to all the profound rubbish we've been doing.
14 days to concert. They don't seem to take it seriously. :/
Anyways, we have auditions for the J1's this week, to decide if we can play for concert, and my slot is tomorrow.
Its not hard of course, but I'm scared lah, naturally. I definitely won't perform well if I'm under pressure. Therefore, GAMBARIMASU!
I'll tell you all if I passed or not. :)
Band talk aside, I have nothing interesting to blog. SERIOUS.
So my current status now, I'm sitting on a chair, blogging on my lappie.
Then my leg started to feel itchy, so I scratched. After prolong scratching, I realised its a MOSQUITO MARK on my leg. I thought it was harmless mozzie, so I didn't bother to do anything and just continued blogging. After a while, my leg started getting more and more itchy, AND THEN, I saw the bloody creature HAPPILY sucking my blood like nobody's business so I smacked it dead. But by then, I already have a million mozzie bites on my leg. :(
Fuck you mozzie, you deserve to die.
Moral of the story: Fill your house with insecticide.

Back to the update, I forgot nearly everything that happened this week. Hee hee~
Or nothing significant enough happened for me to remember. Oh well.
But I did remember going to JSS Cultural Night because it was only yesterday. Hahah
I was already dead beat by then but I managed not to sleep through performance. It was kinda interesting though.
The band started the performance, but I was concentrating more on Hayati playing the TAMBOURINE which is interesting and DAMN funny to watch, rather than listening to the band sound.
They had jumpstyle and modern dance and a CO even.
The jumpstyle was TONS of times better than HY's dead Hip Hop Society. (Oops =x)
But I enjoyed myself even though I still think the dance style is lame~ LOL
And they recited their school song in Chinese?? Honestly doesn't sound like a school song to me cause its boppy and happy. In a good way. (:
Overall, a good $8 spent. :)

Konbanwa!
I seriously don't know who reads my blog right now cause its so boring.
My updates are like the same any other day.
Its either band or school.
Band school band school band school band school band school band school~~~~~

I really want to update now, but I have lecture notes to MEMORIZE and tutorials to finish.
I'm really shitty lagging behind everyone else already. x_x
And did I mention I average like 4 hours of sleep a day?
I don't dare take out my specs, cause they hide my FUGLY eye bags. O_O
Digressing, my cousin is getting engaged this weekend luh~

And she's only 21! :O
I HONESTLY CANNOT, IN 1 MILLION YEARS, IMAGINE GETTING ENGAGED AT 21.
How boring would that be man, stuck to a guy for the rest of your life.
21 is a good age to EXPLORE, not get married. LOL
That's just what I think. Hahah.

Happy cause I actually managed to complete a MALAY ASSIGNMENT. *satisfied*
That's an amazing feat.
Ohyah, did I mention that my Malay class has only 3 students? LOL
Me, a hockey girl and a rugby guy.
Girl = DSA. Guy = Appeal student.

Using the laptop now in the hall now, and my dad's watching a movie.
And I'm like "Why is he watching James Bond DVD at this hour?"
Then I look closely and realised it was Channel 5. -_-
That's how long I haven't been watching TV. D:
My arms are still aching from WEDNESDAY'S Mass PE. Yep.
And they say lactic acid only stay in the body for 48 hours? Rubbish.

Only first week since real lessons start and I got HILLS & MOUNTAINS of homework already.
I am super behind everyone for tutorials and I'm falling asleep in the mega boring lectures.

PROFILE
I think it's about time I actually put something here. Hmmm okay so where do I begin in summarising my awesome self.
I think the main and most obvious thing about me is I'm short and I'm short. And second is of course my admiration for DBSK. Note: Admiration and not obsession. If only time allows me to obsessed with them. Then I'd probably know what they have breakfast everyday. Yep.
Currently suffering studying in ACJC, and playing horn in the most awesome band evah! BCME is a horrible combination, especially with H2 Math. And to this day, I couldn't understand why I took it over H2 Econs. WHY? D:
School life aside, there really isn't much more to me. Cause the time spent outside school or band is usually behind this laptop where I regurgitate my life stories in this blog. Or parts which I could remember at least.
I can only expect it to get tougher with JC2 life to come, but when the going gets tough, the tough gets going. (Kay overused, so what? Still no infringement right?!) So no promises on keeping this blog alive. But as long I have the motivation, inspiration and angst, I will be sticking the shit every now and then. :)
